We have divided our Training & Educational Opportunities information into the following categories:

Certification Programs

A joint program from Georgetown University School of Continuing Education and the Institute for Diversity in Health Management, an affiliate of the American Hospital Association. The CDM in Health Care program is a 12-month blended curriculum that seeks to improve the patient experience by promoting a culturally competent workforce, leadership and governance that is reflective of the patients served resulting in community involvement and trust; strategies that drive increased business, higher performance and lower costs.

Chemical and Biological Attack Education

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) thru the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing, at no cost, training at the Center for Domestic Preparedness to members of the health care community. FEMA covers all costs for travel, meals, lodging, and course materials. 

Discounted Educational Programs

The Delaware Healthcare Association (DHA) has partnered with the Maryland Healthcare Educational Institute (MHEI), an affiliated of the Maryland Hospital Association, to offer DHA members discounted educational programs from MHEI.  DHA saw this partnership as an opportunity to assist our members in receiving continuing education beyond the annual Delaware Healthcare Forum.

Infection and Epidemiology

The Association of Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. (AIPC) web site has many resources and educational opportunities.

Online Courses

The CDC has a center dedicated to training and continuing education.
