Worker's Compensation Continuing Education

Workers’ Compensation Continuing Education Available - Delaware Workers’ Compensation certified health care professionals are required to take an on-line continuing education course to maintain their certification. The training course is now available and can be found at www.delawareworks.com .

The Health Care Advisory Panel designed the on-line course to take approximately two hours to complete. The course allows you to bookmark, if you need to step away and come back to it at a later time. Once you fill out the same provider certification information you initially filled out (this helps update records), you will read short passages of material regarding the Workers’ Compensation Health Care Payment System followed by exams that contain from 1 to 6 questions. The course contains 41 questions and provides prompts if you are unsure of certain answers. Once you correctly answer all the questions, you may access a certificate of completion. The course will also automatically add your information to a report the Office of Workers Compensation will use to update your certification date.

If you have trouble finding the link or navigating through the course, please call the Office of Workers’ Compensation Medical Component at 302-761-8200 for assistance.
