On April 30, DHA sent out a Delaware Healthcare Update e-newsletter to health care stakeholders in Delaware. 

In the newsletter, DHA President & CEO Wayne Smith called attention to the unique and important collaboration between each of Delaware's hospitals and with State officials in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. DHA also highlighted the new community testing sites that Delaware hospitals have set up this week in partnership with with the Division of Public Health in hot spot areas of our state. Finally, the update outlined the financial costs that Delaware hospitals are incurring while they are fighting COVID-19 -- more than $5.66 million per day, or nearly $170 million per month.
